Great Yarmouth weekend |
||
A lovely weekend away staying in a hotel on the seafront in Great Yarmouth. We all received a present from Santa and enjoyed a Christmas lunch. Mid afternoon our coach took us to see the Thursford Christmas Spectactular show, which was amazing. After the show we had a photo opportunity with Ruth, Lesley Mason's granddaughter who was one of the dancers. A long journey but well worth it.

Manchester Ship Canal CruiseA very enjoyable cruise from Castlefields along the Manchester Ship Canal, during which we were served a three course lunch. Docking at Salford Quays we had free time to visit the Lowry Centre, Imperial War Museum and the shopping outlets. |
